"xenon" or "true white" headlight bulbs .. exist?

do they exist for the GC ?

I have been looking around cant seem to find any ..

they exist for the fogs .. i know that ..

but for the actual headlights ..

9005 and 9006 right ?

you wont find xenon in just bulb form, they require a complete balast and new wiring, true white... maybe not, i have "super white bulbes", they dont give off that blueish colour but the are whiter than stock bulbes, they were farily cheap at canadian tire

and they are both straight plug ins .. right .. without a turn >

9005xs and 9006xs, XS just means they are the straight plug in type.

I have 9005-9006 in my headlights 00' WJ 100w low, 130w high beam. IPF HIR new bulbs out very expensive $114 a pair are closest you'l come to true white, If you have a n anderson general store by you go there and get optx bulbs 13.99 a pair they lasted around a yr in my fog lights 9005 for fog lights, very very bright

9006XS is for your low beam and 9005XS is for your high beam. I just replaced mine with some Silverstars which are supposed to have the look of HID, I think they look pretty good and are brighter than the stock bulbs.

Kind of off the topic here but I am wanting to replace my headlights(WJ) with the Limited version. Are the Laredo and Limited headlights swappable no problem? And anybody got some Limited ones laying around?

I got mine at autozone. The actual part number for them is 9006XS ST for low beam and 9005XS ST for high beam. They should be at any auto parts store.

I can give my opinion on the whole "xenon" bulb question and tell you that I have tried about every kind of xenon or true white bulb that exists for the WJ's. All I can say is that you get what you pay for.....

I tried a pair of Nokya hyper white bulbs and they were cheap and were not bright at all. Whenever someone would ride in the car, they would ask me if my lights were even on LOL.

The best pair I have had success with is the Street Glow Hyper White Xenon Bulbs. They were about $30 a pair and they have the blue tint and are much whiter than the stock bulbs.

If you want true blue lights, you will have to go with an HID kit which will run abour $200 for a good kit. Just wanted to throw in my opinion though!!!

Also....I happen to have a stock pair of Limited bulbs just laying around. I have replaced both all my headlights (High, Low, and Fog) so I have every pair laying around I do believe!!!

You have just the bulbs or the actual Limited Headlights? I want the headlights, not the bulbs.
