Write-Up on Washer Fluid Pump

Per request I am doing a quick write up on this. I will have to edit once I can get pictures. This was quite simple. The front washer fluid pump is the front one on the washer fluid container. I started by taking the screws holding the container in place out. Once I had the container loose I unhooked the electrical connections and just spun the washer fluid pump. The screen/nut holding it in place then fell in the container. This caused me to have to dump the contents out. I then got the new washer fluid pump and held the screen with needle nose vise grips. Once i had that in place I just slowly turned the washer fluid pump back onto the screen/nut.

This was very simple and if anything does not make sence, it will once you start doing it. Don't be afraid to tackle this one!

Cheers

Did you know that you posted on the ZJ forum? I could be wrong, but I think this info would be more useful to Wrangler owners.

I just replaced the pumps today on my ZJ in the same fashion. I found a vacuum hose plugged and stuffed under the reservoir too. But it was a very easy process. It took me maybe 20-30 minutes.
