PILLS HERE Join Date: Jun 2008 Location: Crystal Lake, IL Posts: 2,939 | go with a 15x7 or 16x7, 5x5 bolt pattern and 4' of backspacing. I went with 8" wide and I wish I did 7". I mounted the tires (31x10.5x15) myself and they were a PAIN to get the bottom bead seated because the rim was so wide. |

Registered User | i run that same lift and the only way i can fit a 31" tire is with tock rims, so i run stock size tires with a Atx Preditor rim set with lots of offset on my 2000 Wj |

Registered User | ok the ones on that site are 15s but today some guy at a local tires store told me that the 15s wont fit cause my stock rims are 16s soo... |

Luck favors the prepared | You'll probably only need minor trimming on the front bumper. __________________ Sell me a front drive shaft! 2003 WJ in Jeep Green Metallic, 4.0/242/3.55's. 2" BB w/ Rancho RSX shocks, cheap intake w/ amsoil filter, 2.5" hi flow cat and back exhaust, lots of lights and other misc crap. Posts: 986 | ok, let me make life easy for you, do you want a 15 or 16 or 17 inch wheel? more than likely if you want a soft eight its gonna have 4" of backspacing. now do you want a 7" or 8" wide rim? i like 8" myself, but to each his own. the worst thing you will have to do, is if you go 15s and you have to grind down the caliper a little bit (i didnt have to at all) __________________ SILVER 2001 WJ With a few mods. Registered User | Same Boat Yea... I'm a little in the same boat. I am getting the IRO 3" lift and thinking about running rockcrawler 15*8 steel rims. 3.75 backspacing. Any thoughts on that combo and what is the best tire to run? Do I need anything else (JKS TieRod for instance), to make sure everthing is fine in the steering... Cheers Chumby. |
