WJ Rear Tow hook Install

I got a used rear Tow Hook from a forum member in JU. Since it did not come with the install sheet iam having trouble in installing it on my WJ.

Basically the rear Tow hook kit comes with a Tow Hook which is already attached to a Bracket and a Brace. Look like I need to bolt the one end of the Brace to the TowHook, but don't know where the other end goes too.

If any one have a rear tow hook on their WJ, can you post the pics of it how it got installed and stuff.

I looked at wjjeeps.com does not give the detailed instruction of the rear tow hook install.

Thanks,
Sur.

If you have the tow hitch, why do you want a rear tow hook?

Okay, that makes perfect sense. The hook will be a good deal for you. Unless you want to use the rear hatch hasp like one guy did for a tow point.

His reasoning was that it did work and that it was only done once and in an emergency.

I got tow hook in the front, I hesitated to get one for the rear. (Do we really need one)

But since it is a used one and got good deal on it, I ended up in getting one.

Unless you have a rear tow hitch or tow point, a lot of parks or ORV areas won't let you in.

It bolts on the drivers side of the gas tank skid. If you get under there and take a look, it should be pretty self explanatory.

Yeah, I figured out this part. The Kit came with a Tow hook which is already attached to a bracket, this is the one goes along the drivers side of the gas tank skid.

But the kit also came with a brace ( a rod like ), one side need to be bolt on the tow hook bracket, but couldn't figure where the other end goes. There is a U-bolt which came with the kit, no idea where this goes in the frame.
