wj rear tow hook.

does anyone have a rear tow hook on their jeep or would you recommend outting one on mine?

Get a trailer hitch its stronger and much more useful, and you can get them for ~100 bucks.

then look for an OEM one on ebay, or in a junkyard. You cut a hole in the bumper (already pre-marked) and then get the little plastic trim ring to make it look factory

OEM tow hooks are about the same cost, since its a discontinued part, and it only mounts on one side... the hitch is much stronger and more useful

Get a factory one from a junk yard or from a vehicle being parted.

i've got 2 used rear hooks for WJ if your interested, although you would be better off with a hitch..

yes stronger more beneficial and you never know when you might need to tow a trailer

I love mine that hangs below, it protects my gas tank and acts like a slider, way better than stocker.

www.car-part.com if you want a factory one for cheap.
