WJ ignition switch-HELP

Has anyone had problems with their ignition. Mine won't turn half of the time. I am planning on replacing it. Does anyone know how difficult it is to do this? When i get the ignition from the dealer does it come with a new set of keys or can i get it keyed to my current one? How much is this part?? Thanks in ADV.

a manual will show you how and i think that they come with instructions...

I replaced mine in my 94 .... the dealer even changed the cylinder to match the original key...

can remember for sure but it was around 50 bucks

The walmart oil change guru twisted it off in the cant use position..

i did get my money from wally for the switch but not for my time

I love my Jeep But..... I am getting sick of the neverending problems with this truck. They all seem to be expensive to. I talked with someone who said this problem is about a $500 repair.
