im pretty sure it can be done with some modding but you would have to work kinda hard to make it look legit and a clean install... i seen it done before but this guy had a great shop and could mold pretty much anything he wanted to if you can do fiberglass you can even try that but i would recomend you stick to the flip out scree or go with the RB1 or RB4 they have a 1.5 sin i beleive.... im not too sure check that out it might even be cheaper than your flip out with no modifying...

everyone i've seen with double din, has cut their trim piece to fit it.. if done right it can look good.. but you can only fit like 1.5 din in the stock space

something about the white on looks cleaner, more professionally finished . but hey if you can make it work, make it work. i'm really starting to think just upgrade all components and throw in a sub , alpine type r series all the way around . new amp for both and call it a day with the stock HU......

yeah I found that pic on a site where people show off their cars. I was meaning to contact the owner but I have long lost the bookmark. I imagine if you basically did the reverse of TSConver (cut up instead of down) you could do it. I have a ZJ so I havnt been able to do it myself

i think it still needs more work, I am going to refine mine a bit more this spring, might even find some real thin crafters metal and laminate to it, just been searching the craft shops deciding how I am going to finish it off.

the second pic doesnt look too shabby, i'm just a big fan of the details. i also have woodgrain and would like to keep it as " stock ish " as possible,

i really should prioritize things better. lift and wheels > audio . but you know.. this wj gets through some crazy stuff in stock form !

the white doesnt match any of the other interior components though, black looks better IMO.
