WJ Door mirror fault (will not fold in / out)

Hi,

Anybody got any pointers as to why my door mirrors do not fold in any more (note feature is not available on US domestic WJ versions)?

Although the drivers door module has the mirror fold button, does anybody know if it directly drives the passenger door mirror, or issues a "fold / unfold mirror" command to the passenger door control module via the PCI bus?

any help appreciated before I rip the door panels apart...

Thanks
Steve

Thanks Volvite, I thought the US based users may not be able to help if it's not a standard fitting, any UK oy European users experienced this fault ?

I'd like to get it fixed as it's a really useful feature when parking in small (UK) parking bays :-)

cheers
Steve

No help but I have the same problem, drivers side(I have a left hand drive). I'm sure my problem is nothing electrical as the mirror feels loose when you move it, I'm going to take it apart when I have time.
