WJ 03 Power Steering Leak

Hey Everyone, my first post here. Have a quick question..

My jeep has been leaking power steering fluid. Was slow, took it in for an oil change, and they said the pressure hose was leaking.

But today, i figure is a good day to tackle it. I dont see exactly where the leak is coming from. Saw some drip spots from the bottom of the Oil pump casing, some on the non metal rubber hose running from the bottom of the oil pump case to the fan. But none around the pressure hose or where they thread in.

Just wondering if its possible this guy is leaking and I cant see it. Or is it my ps case that leaking (hopefully not )

Thanks everyone.

edit: cleaned everything and trying to run it to pinpoint the leak

Well, I'm assuming it's the 4.7 so chances are it's leaking where the high pressure hose attaches to the pump. There's a new undated design available. Dealer only.

Hey, sorry about not posting the engine. duh mistake.

4.7. I took the air box out and drove down the street to get it to leak, and from what I can tell it is the pressure hose.

Thanks for the tip on the updated part!

when in doubt clean your engine and check for leaks a couple days later. you can also run neon dye in the system and find the leak with a black light.
