Wiring Jeep for towing behind MH

Getting my 00 GC ready to tow. Decided to add new bulbs to the rear tailight assys.
Now I need to run the wires to the front. Trying to decide to go inside or outside. Would rather go inside, but how do the panels and such come off. Don't see any screws. Figure I can go thru the firewall at the steering column. Anyone done inside routing of wires that could offer some tips?

the plastic fascia alongs the door jamb comes up pretty easily- just pry it up gently w\ a large flat headed screwdriver or just work your fingers under it and give it a good "pop". IIRC, you'll have to take off 3 pieces- by the front seat, the pillar between the front and rear doors (called the B-pillar I think?) and by the rear seats. There are a few small screws to take out (phillips head) so if it's not coming, look for a screw that might be covered by the next overlapping piece of trim. There's a channel underneath for wiring, you can get all the way to the back quite easily.
I think (this was like a year ago) I found it easier to pull it from the rear seat area to the back of the vehicle using a wire fish rather than take any more panels off.
