which wire is for the brights?

Hey ya'll i'm wiring my extra lights on my 97 and I want to make sure I have them connected to the brights so they only come on when the brights are on. Can any of you tell me which wire is the one that is hot for regular and which one is hot for the brights. I can use a voltmeter if I need to but I was just wondering if anyone had a quick answer. Thanks
