Will a ZJ blower motor resistor work in a WJ? (Both manual)

From several sites I have seen 93-2001, 93-2004, 96-2004, and 93-99.

Some of these (93-99) seem as if they were trying to stick to the ZJ/WJ break, but then the others make no sense.

The resistors look identical, but I don't want to melt any wiring swapping in something that I shouldn't.

That, and a ZJ unit is about $50 cheaper.

The manual climate control uses a resistor, while the auto temperature control uses a solid state module. That said, if the WJ & ZJ are both actual resistors, take an ohmeter and compare resistance values. If they are resistors & look the same, they will probably work...it's just a resistor.
EDIT: Just saw in the title that they are both manual. I would try it.

Update: 1998 ZJ works in a 2000 WJ.

I have all four of my speeds now.
