Should fit you might need one of these universal mounting brackets from best buy or Walmart or one of those places and make sure you have the right wiring harnes adapter

Double din units will not fit with out some decent modification, the dash bezel radio opening is barely big enough for a single din never mind the lack of space inside because of wiring and the vent plumbing

Cut out the center vents and it'll fit. Will probably look like crap though.

You need to relocate the vents and the hvac head unit. Search, it's been done like twice over the years.

'97 zj 5.2, some stuff, some other suff, and some things that even work sometimes.

I am currently installing one in mine. I removed the inner radio bracket and relocated the extra wire harness behind the cluster. I cut the bezel with a hot knife and filled the sides to match the unit better. The radio is currently riding just in the dash. I am trying to get a two wheel drive cubby to remove the vic and install the bezel once. The screws above the stereo are very difficult to install and after the plastic removal the bezel isn't the strongest.

A pic would be great. I am worried about the lip of the dash interfering with the angle.

here you go hope this helps. I got this free and its a cheapo canadian tire deck. Has nav plays dvds and such. I had a hell of a time getting it to fit in such a small area so many pre outs and wires and such i had to remove the dash pad and tuck everything behind places lol.
