why tow points are important....

So- just for everyones entertainment, i'm going to post pics of exactly why tow points are important... not that i dodn't know, but until sat night, i've never had a problem....please feel free to at anytime... i'm a dip****, but it was still fun as hell!

...and yes...the tow rope is going through my back doors... i know...i figured that would be better then a broken axle or shock mount...

^hell yeah - i washed it twice! - first time i only used 8$ just to get the mud out of the engine, undercarraige, and my brakes - my ABS light came on once i was high centered.... and then yesterday i spent another 10$ getting rid of the rest of it - ridiculous.... i HATE mud

no worries - it actually did some minor damage nothing thats not fixable though - all i've gotta do is fix the seal on my door to match the new, slightly different shape of the door

its all good - thank you - i've only had her for a few months now - so many plans and such little funds...it will be a slow project for sure, but i'm excited...i'm making her into more of an expedition rig though - not so much mudding, rock crawling **** - too much for me....but she has proven herself to be faithful every time i take her out...i've got a serious attachment...

Why did you chose to recover it that way? This is the second time I have seen that in the past month, it is a terrible idea.

^i know it's a terrible idea - but i don't have any tow points - and i'd rather pull from here than risk breaking an axle or my shock mounts - those were kind of my only other options at the time. i figured if worse comes to worse, i would have to replace two windows and repair some of the body, but fortunately all i need to do is adjust the moulding a little bit

I'm not sure on the reasoning behind that either. I would have hooked the strap around the axle near a CA mount before I did something like that.
