Why So Much Vibration?

I have a Rubicon Express BB with goodyear 30 inch tires and when i hit 55 mph my steering wheel vibrates very hard. I replaced my steering stabilizer with the skyjacker heavy duty and it helped a little but the vibrations are still comming. Could this be warped roters?

Are your lug nuts tight? I would also suspect a tread separation (between the tread and belts) or a bushing issue. I don't think it's the rotors because you're going 55 mph and not depressing the brakes...

Tire balance? Try rotating front to rear and see if there is any difference, better or worse. If it changes at all, I would suspect balance problems.

I agree with Ryan2son - doesn't sound like rotors.

How did you put your BB in? If you loosend any of the bolts to the control arms, trac bar or any sterring component this will aslo do it. The main culprit out of those 3 is the trac bar. It seams tight when you first put it on but it is not. Retighten all you bolts again.

Did you bother getting it aligned after the install?
