Who's rear trackbar do i want?

Have most items i need to lift my 98 ZJ, minus a rear trackbar and crossmember for my front radius arms. Coming from the XJ world, so rear TB's are new to me.

This is not a hard wheelin rig, mostly interstate and two tracks to remote scenic camps. I dont like heims on suspension components and adjustability/rebuildable is high on the list. I want something thats gonna hold up. Lift height is gonna be 4.5-5" with rear short arms till i scrape up the coin for a triangulated LA rear.

What holds up.. what do i stay away from?

Probably the two rear track bars that I see most used on this forum (on ZJs), are the IRO adjustable, and the JKS adjustable.

OK, thanks. I see the diff between them is the IRO is solid 1.25" vs the hollow but probably stout 1.25" JKS, the IRO looks to have a few more bends in it.. any advantage there?

Both look to be $140ish.. neither needs a bracket kit?

Solid tube does not resist bending forces any better than hollow tube of the same diameter.

Bends are for clearance.

'97 zj 5.2, some stuff, some other suff, and some things that even work sometimes.

Those with the JKS TB.. the JJ rebuild kits, are they the same as RE's TB and smaller control arms? Be nice if i can use the same kit and tool to service.

I don't know much about the JKS TB but the IRO is nice. They had some contact issues but they redesigned it recently and they fit perfect now and don't contact anywhere. If you have stock exhaust, any TB might hit it while flexing. I know mine looked close to the exhaust so I dumped it before the rear axle.

the IRO is better. it uses regular polly bushings which are easier to find and cheaper. and the bends clear the diff and exhaust better.

I like my IRO front track bar but I am questioning the durability of the poly bushings. Think I am gonna get a set of super hard durometer type.
