Who Has Done Heater Treater

OK, got a blast of hot air while A/C was on today. 2004 Grand Cherokee Limited. Ran the test and show a code 54, blend door overtravel. Heat works but I figure it's on it's way out. I don't want to have it go totally in winter.

I am ordering the Heater Treater. They claim 100% success rate etc. Am I getting smoke? Has anyone done this and does it work? How easy/hard is it and can you screw the system up far worse so a dealer will charge more if you screw up?

I put mine in 2 years ago. Took 1 hour and fixed the issue for good.

I bought new OEM updated pars 2.5 years ago and installed them by removing the dash. I had code 56 within about 6 months.
