Where is the Power Door lock Relay/Module

I'm still trying too figure out why my power locks won't lock on my GC, I was thinking about replacing the modules or relays now. Nothing else has worked.

are they not working all together, intermittently, or just unlocking but no locking?

If I lock everything manually they will unolck when I push the switch to unlock on the drivers door. But they will not lock when I push the switch to lock, except the driver door it works fine, some of the actuators sound like they are trying to lock but the don't.

I beleive there is a relay center below the glove box. It is on the right side of the box. I have never looked for it. It has the door lock, door open and interior illumination relays as I recall. I cannot open the file that has a drawing.

If the drivers door works, it may be a wiring problem. Many have had problems with the wiring harness where it goes in from the drivers door to the vehicle cab. The flexing of the harness causes some wires to break.

I have been wondering about a wireing problem too, I checked the wires betwee the door and cab, If its a wire problem I'll have to set a side a few days to do some wire tracing. Thats why I am trying to replace the easy stuff first. But that is starting to get expensive.

It sounds like a broken wire there, that may be making intermittent contact.

Very, very common problem.

Pull back the rubber accordian boot and look. The wire may look OK if you don't look closely, and the insulation may be almost intact with a broken wire inside.

It's an easy fix (awkward, though) with wire connectors.
