OK Where is the power window fuze & WHICH FUZE BOX IS IT LOCATED IN .1995 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE.
It's getting dark out side guys going to be hard to fix in dark.
All 4 windows stopped going up & or down at the same time .
Does that mean switch instead of fuze .
Ok no one answered .. Then how do I search this.
I wenr up to top off page where it says search this page or search this forum & I got no answers . I can never get s search to work.
Is it the fuze or a wire? I dont know much about fuzes but i had the same issue a few weeks ago with a wire breaking in the door. If you're not sure, check under the rubber boot on your driver side door and look for a severed black wire. If that's the problem i wrote out a detailed guide to fixing it
thanks W33K
....... i JUST PUT A DOOR SWITCH FROM ANOTHE DOOR PANEL i HAD ..I found it in the daylight But it's about to get dark.
THAT'S WHAT I'VE BEEN AFRAID of it being.
i'LL GO CHECK THOSE BLACK WIRES
W33K Your a genius. Or show I say thanks for all the work I now have ahead of me. There was a Black wire that has already been spliced. It was apart . SO I Plugged it together & held on with one hand & worked the switch with my other hand . I needed 3 hands or a helper.
& When I asked the wife to help .. I THINK HER ANSWER WAS NOT ONLY NO.. BUT.
... BUT MY DRIVERSide went up about all but 2 inches & after another 5 minutes I got it up the rest of the way.
Then the pass side it would go down but not up. SO I went to the pass side & it rolled up from the pass side switch.
So they are up & I noticed that I don't have a radio speaker in my driver side door. SO I left the panel off so I can put in a speaker.
I'LL GET A BUdDY WHO IS REALLY GOOD AT SPLICING WIRE .. Close to the cuff...
W33K can you post up a link to your thread on splicing those wires.
& THANKS AGAIN.
