Where did this go?

I am replacing my heat core/AC Evaporator, I have the ground strap that I do not know where it came from.
The big end is on the fire wall mount where did the small end go.
It is # 3 in the photo
Thanks for any help
OBTW Rock Autos heater core had the wrong bends in it soI resorted to an AutoZone unit wish me the best

Are you in the engine bay? I have a ground strap (also a 4.7L) that goes from the firewall to the valve stud over the #8 cylinder. Don't know if that is the same ground strap you are referring too.

Nope this is behind the HVAC unit, so more than likely the only people who have seen this are the ones that have done the recir doors or heater core

just looked at mine and nothing comes through the firewall. It probally came off one of the heater assembly mounting bolts at the firewall.
