Junkyards or eBay are the cheapest sources. Mopar still has a stock of them, but at $800, I don't imagine they sell many.

I don't want a new one. I just didn't know if there was a company that fixed them or something.

Go and find a 2wd ZJ and put in the VIC delete cubby, WAY better option that's what I did and I bought it for $20 from guy parting out his ZJ. B/c with the used VIC you have about a 50/50 chance they work and if it works probably won't work for very long ha

Five of them on eBay at the moment. Remember you need the 96-98 model with a single plug (93-95 uses 2 plugs).

So if I do remove it that won't cause problems with anything else right?

If that doesn't work, I have a 96 VIC too. I also have the 2wd cubbies.

I had a link to a place that sold them new for around $80. They bought all the surplus ones motorola I think it was had in stock. If you are interested I'll see if I can find it. I don't know anything else about it but they had a phone number.

Found it...........http://horizonindustries.com/vic97.htm
