When on throttle only I hear flip flip flip flip flip

I have a 1997 jeep grand cherokee laredo 4x4 with the 4.0 when I am on the throttle only it makes a flip flip flip coming from front under car. The sound gets alittle louder as I drive faster.

Any tips or things to check would be great

thanks in advance

Start looking for an exhaust leak or a head gasket leak.

Oh man lol I should say it sounds alot like a drivetrain noise not like an exhaust leak because I could almost feel it in the peddle alittle but when I let off throttle it does go away.

If jeep is not in gear and I free rev I don't hear the noise I know its not under load but just letting you know fyi
