wheels and tires

i got a 2.25 lift for my zj and have been looking for tires. I found a set of 5 rubicon wheels and tires with only 100 miles on them for $1100. I am wondering if this is a good idea and how the wheels would look on my 5.9L. Does anyone have any pictures of a zj with rubicon tires?

Thats not really a great deal. I have seen moabs with tires for $800. I guess it depends on the tread depth of the tires.

How much tread is left on the tires? You can figure a %age based on how many 32nds of an inch are left vs. how many are there new.

Then they might be worth picking up. Keep in mind they are load range E wich is pretty stiff for a Jeep.

Well if you plan on using your Jeep for mudding then the Rubi takeoffs probable aren't that great of deal. The tires on there (Goodyear MT/Rs) are an All-Terrain not a Mud Terrain.

ive seen those on ebay. i was thinking they would look good on my wj. i think the ones u are talkin about though are the ones with the BFG mud terrains that only are made for the new jeeps. those are pretty sick. post a link to a picture or the ad.

did I miss him saying he needed mud terrains?
MT/Rs arent that bad in mud and depending on your surroundings you are likely to need the dry pavement traction more often then wet. unless you only go out to play in the mud, in which I do not recommend doing so unless you spend the several hours it takes to make the grand more water resistant.
