Wheels and tires???

hey guys i have the 16" Silverblade #1 wheels with P225/75R16 tires and i wanted to buy the 17" Silverblade #3 wheels would these wheels be compatible with my current tires? what would i have to do to make these work? THANKS -victor

NO!

You CANNOT put 16 inch tires on a 17 inch rim.

If you managed to stretch it over the bead, (yes, I mean if YOU managed to do it because no tire shop will do it) it would explode when you put air in it.

Hell if you read your what is on your tires it most likely says to NOT mount on a 16.5" rim...a 17" is untinkable so quit thinking about it!

And by the way, there is NOTHING you can do to make your tires work on 17 inch rims. If you HAVE to have 17s that bad, you are going to have to anti up and buy new tires as well.

ok i knew that was a stupid question but if i bought 17" wheels and tires would there be any issues with rubbing etc? Thanks

Well you'll need to get a different size tire. Stock you probably have something around: 235/75-16 which is a 29.8" tall tire (9.25" wide), you could go up to a 30.5" tire w/o any real problems. A 245/70-17 should fit if you wanted to go bigger, if not get a smaller tire.
