i have a 96 jeep grand Cherokee Laredo just did a brakes rotors and a rt rear caliper i think it had a problem before i bought it but anyhow the back brakes are locking up till i bleed the brakes they release then i press the brake again they lock up and been smoking i need help pls.
well i put the jeep on floor jacks and pumped the brakes the rear wheels both lock up cant budge them loosen the bleeder valve on either side and no air or pressure on the brake fluid but they get loose wondering if its the hcu someone said i need a scanner to bleed the abs don't know how that works
well i replaced the rear brake hoses and re-bleed the calipers and still does it.
yesterday i got a new master cylinder bench bled it put it on and re-bled the brakes and still does it i guess its time to spend some real money on taking it to the dealership or changing the abs unit because yesterday i broke the f***en brake bleeder on the new brake caliper my wife gave me he** for throwing tools halfway across the yard she said who's gonna pick them up and i said i'll gett'um when i mow the yard i guess.
i'm stumped, i don't get it, i need help with this jeep have well over 500.00 dollars in the brake system so far.
