wheelin with new treads!!

went out to a place called potato ridge with some cats i met on the forum. it was my first time out with my new tires. those are 33s stuffed under 4.5in re with no trimming in the rear and cutting the bottom of the bumper.

i have a lot more pics but these get the point across. it was a good time.

better safe than sorry.. the 1 second that it takes to put it on could save your life

the Jeep looks nice except for the spare tire that looks like its just tied down with ratchet straps.... very dangerous...

death wobble wont make it fly off... slamming on your brakes or getting into an accident will make it become a lethal projectile though

and if you think were tough.. go to mallcrawlin.com or pirate4x4.com.. they wouldnt be as nice as us

The Jeep does look nice though... how much bumpstop are you running

yea i was just crawlin some threads on pirate and i dont even want to be a part of that. if you dont have a buggy with 2 ton axles and 40s you are just dumb in their eyes and they give you crap for everything. and im actuallly picking up a D44a off a guy from mallcrawlin.com but i never posted on there really either. just got up with him about the axle. how do you like yours?

i love my d44a i swapped it in not too long ago to get rid of my 35

mine is geared to 4.10 with the factory LSD that came in the 5.9Lmited ZJ ( thats what mine is out of )
in a few days i will have the Mountain Valley Customs Truss/Skid for it and i got Blue Torch Fabworks to make a heavy duty diff cover for the d44a as well.

Mallcrawlin isnt that bad.. i hang out there... its just not the place for noob questions... i only go there for advanced tech stuff and usually find it searching without the need to post

i actually havnt had the opportunity to wheel it yet after the axle swaps but im pretty sure i will stick with the LSD for quite a while.. i also have a Detroit True Trac in the front HP30 so i think i will be good enough for the wheeling that i do

i hear ya. what did you spend on the entire swap of both axles? did you do the work yourself? i can swap some axles even put in a locker but i hear gears are something you can easily screw up.
