Wheel bearing/ hub

Can wheel bearings making a pop or crack noise when making a hard turn or hitting bumps?? Wheel is wobbly and ball joints and everything seems to be solid.

Yep, or your wheel might not be seated correctly. You can check to make sure by removing the wheel, brake calipers, and rotor, then see how much the bearing moves. If there's any play in it, replace it as soon as possible.

I'd check the axle shaft as well, if you have the cv style (which I think most zjs have) then I'd check to see if the boot on the shaft is torn like this boot.

I'm guessing you jacked the wheel up and pushed at the 6 and 12 o' clock to determine the wheel was wobbly? If so then I'd start with replacing the hub and check the boots, if the boots are okay then just do the hub, if they're torn then do both.

Want your zj to be doorless in 60 seconds?
