Whats up with missfire codes?

01 grand cherokee. I did the on off on off on off code check system and it reads miss fire on all cylinders 1-6, it runs fine with smooth idle. The engine light is on and sometimes flashes. Twice the thing shut down without any warning. Is this a false read out? do I need to reset the computer. HELP!.

I would certainly not try to ignore. Check your fuel pressure at the rail. Something is not right, especially if it dies.
