what size lift

I am looking to get some 31 inch tires for my grand and i also want a lift. I dont know much about lifts so how many inches would you recommend and would you go w/ the suspension lift or body?

I have I guy I put 24in rims on is grand and we only had to do minor fender triming. haha ( this is for real) for 31's they say you only need like a 2-3 in SUSPENSION not body lift.

Yea can't do a body lift on a ZJ or WJ cause they are unibody. Get a 2 inch budget boost for 31's.

I used a 3" Skyjacker lift to run 31's. I still experienced some tire rub around sharp turns and when parking but it disappears after around 1000 miles are on the tires. Good Luck.

You can actually fit 31's stock. Or you could use a 2" lift. Or if you don't want to touch your fenders you could go 3". I'd throw 'em on stock and cut my fenders personally. Im lifted 2" and run 33's.

Yeah, that works too, but you still need to hack at the fenders a bit.
