I have been having power steering pump problems, got one from junk yard dog.com, and it failed in a month. the yard where I got it from is great, and is sending me another free of charge. but its gonna take a few days. and we just got blasted with this snow storm, and I need the 4x4. (wifes honda got stuck) It looks to me that you might be able to bypass the steering pump with a shorter belt. has anyone tried this? if so, what size belt worked. by the way, the pulley did the flying off the pump thing yesterday, and shattered all over the road. but I saved the belt!!
sorry, this is a 96 zj with the 5.2

have you ever tried driving with out power steering. It is tough and if you are going any distance, I wouldn't recommend you try it.
