Spending the money for a full Clayton long arm kit will save you money in the long run. Budget about $4k to do it.

I quite like my Iron Rock Offroad kit, they're popular company for Grands and have great customer support.

I never understood the term "best.. for the money"..

There are varying quality issues between the manufacturers, and that affects price. None of them will swap for a ham sammich.. so you'll need to decide what you need and decide on a price point for those needs.

Maybe give us some info.. on what your needs are.

thats a great start. but nothing you have will work with long arms in the future.

sounds like you've set yourself up to 'upgrade' to adjustable short arms to get 5" of lift which will eventually lead to long arms, and you selling off parts of your short arm lift............

lol its a vicious cycle just about every single person here has gone through.

Currie, jks, and Clayton..... You never set a budget and they're the best at Any price.

'97 zj 5.2, some stuff, some other suff, and some things that even work sometimes.

Best lift kit for the money is a budget boost....learn to wheel on that and then go straight to long arms.

Lift Kit

Thanks for your answers, i have 2inch pucks on it right now but don't know what brand or if i should piece together the lift kit. i do like the Rought Country 4inch Long arm. but i have heard many down falls about it. and irock is what my jeep club runs. so im just stuck on what to choose before spending the money.

If you're looking for high quality; forget about spacers, Rough Country anything, front to rear swaps and anything that mentions a drop bracket or budget.

You want a full suspension kit with long arms. Quality for a ZJ is not cheap.

I did my research and went straight to the IRO Premium LA Kit. It's all about what you want in the long run. To save now and spend later, always leads to spending more in the long run.
