Fram's are terrible filters. Get a napa gold or silver, a wix in disguise, for nearly the same price as a fram.

before people go nuts next time you change you oil, open up the can and see what it did.

if your running basic 3K to 5K oil get a WIX, mopar, napa, even mobile 1 filter a bit better then fram
check out this video and on the side can see what others are made of

If gabe doesn't respond <--Very unlikely i can help you.

The amsoil Oil filter Absolute Efficiency Oil Filter (EAO42)

Now do you have a Straight Oil filter or is the filter mounted horizontal or does it stick out of the block.

IF you want a Larger Filter the EAO15 will fit also this cross refernce's with K&N hp-3001 which i know! fits

WIX-51515 is the EAO15/HP3001 equal for about 7bucks

this will make your jeep hold about 1/4 to 1/2 qt more of oil lol

If you are in the Seattle area, talk to this dealer, Jeep Space - Haleyrz Also a JF member.

If you are gonna run the XL oil- use the Wix. It will go to the 7500 mile mark without an issue. If you are running one of the premium oils, like ASL, then go ahead and get the EA series filter. It is hands down the best filter on the market and is capable of an extended drain.
