what exhaust?!
i was looking at flowmaster 40 series...but everybody and their moms have those.
sooo was gunna check out borla..anybody have these on a ZJ? 98 ZJ I6, 4x4. STOCK just wondering if the borla sounds good on the I6 or not...not loud droning etc. and do you guys suggest just getting headers, and the muffler and custom piping all the way?

can't find the borla...so probably just getting the flowmaster super 40 muffler with no cat for the time being and run custom 2.5" piping...if i did it with no cat, wouldn't it make it a deeper tone or what?
what header should i get that would be good and bolt on? |

have you thought about the flowmaster 70 series. I have one on my I6 and it sound very nice. Here is a clip I found of a FM70.

why not just a straight pipe? or better yet, get custom headers and cut holes in your hood and send em straight up, it should be nice and loud that way.

It's not my Jeep in the clip. I believe that the GC in the clip has 2.5" pipe, and a hi-flow cat. I just replaced the muffler on mine and kept the stock pipe and it sounds very similar.

Most of the 4.0 guys think the FM 50 sounds better than the 40.
