what does jeepforum think about this ZJ for sale in san diego?

sup guys! A friend of mine wants a jeep. he found this jeep on craigslist and wants it. I have a WJ so Im not a ZJ guru. thought i'd post it on jeepforums and see what the local ZJ jeepers think about this 98 ZJ. would you buy it? thoughts/concerns about this thing? thanks guys!

no bueno. cheap/incomplete lift. the front bumper isn't very substantial and would not support a winch
WAYYYYY over priced. I paid 2800$ for mine................9 years ago

The guy's a moron and overpaid for EVERYTHING on that Jeep. Maybe half of what he's asking MAX.

The fact the he calls it a V6 inline 4.0 makes me question how much he really knows about it.

I payed 1700 for mine in just as good condition with a rebuilt tranny up in Los Angeles.
It just didn't come with the lift.

5000 grand seems kinda steep
Kbb says a zj even in excellent condition is only about 3k tops.
And I've seen niners go for that price where I'm at

ok were done here. just talked him out of this thing actually. basically spot on with what I was telling him. I'll be keeping my eyes out for a zj or wj for him tho. thanks for the input guys!

yeah definately run from that one. i started seeing red flags when i saw the stock track bar on the front
