Adjusted the TV cable and BOY what a difference. It drives like a completely different Jeep, and it doesn't buck forward anymore. smooth shifting all the way.

Went to work about an hour ago to get a schedule for this coming week, walk in the door, three minutes later it starts pouring. By that time I had gotten 3 automated text messages for flood warnings. I stay a few minutes because I don't feel like taking a shower on my way back to my jeep to leave. Well, it wasnt slowing down at all, so I say "**** it" and run to it. So I leave and about 500 yards down the road there are two cars flooded out. Would have went through but there was a police officer at either end of the puddle, the one on my side being a lifted yj lol. I assume he drove through it to get to my side to block traffic. So I take a detour to the other side to take this pic.

OT: Got my new clear corners and put them on.

Keep it capped. From the factory it is capped. By taking the black plug off you've just caused a vacuum leak.. And I am willing to bet that if you left the cap off your air setting are going to be stuck on defrost and you prolly lost your cruise control?

Just leave it capped

Dang cops blockin it off. Jeeps should have special flood area permits, we have flash flood warnings today for a few hours (tucson has now idea how to filter water off streets.) But mud tomorrow hopefully.

As for today nothing new, waiting for new headlights to get here.

Not that I know of, but
.

When you go to adjust it, before you take the black plastic bit off, look at how it is positioned, and remember to pull the housing of the wire up til it matches exactly to where it's snapped on. (if you watch the video you'll understand what I just said)

Went to the JY to grab bulb sockets to do the parking light mod. Figured I'd take a look & see if I could find myself a rear cargo shade since I don't have one in my ZJ. After looking through 12 ZJ's I finally found one! I haven't had any luck finding one in the last few months... Today must've been my lucky day.... Then I confirmed it was when the guy at the counter said the shade was $4.00 & the bulb sockets were no charge!

While you are improving airflow, see if your local j/y has a radiator fan shroud you can install so the fan can more effectively pull air thru the radiator and keep things from overheating. Daily driving may not bring temps up too high, but wheelin will.

Thanks to you posting that video, I successfully adjusted my TV cable. It was pretty easy once I figured out that the clip slides off to the passenger side on the 5.2 rather than lifting straight up like on the 4.0. I test drove it and it felt a little better on the 2-3 shift than normal. I only went around the block so I'll have to drive it around tomorrow to check and see what kind of difference it made. Thanks a ton for posting that video!
