Like here on Amazon

Or here on eBay
With the cooler that's .75" and then removing half of the metal brace and one bar of the header there is about 2 1/8" to fit a fan in there and that will be touching the grill probably. I saw some 6" fans that were only two inches thick some place on line but I forgot where.

I was just kidding about cutting up the niner grill.

And here I was going to volunteer to bring a saw over and take pictures while you cut away at it.
Here's a 7" X 2" fan

BTW, those tarpaper pieces that go on each side of the radiator cost $16.95 ea.
I just ordered one today that was missing so I will have it when installing my new Ron Davis radiator.

I think they help block the air so that it goes to the fan and not around it.

Without them a lot of the air will travel around the radiator, these plug up the sides and force the air through the radiator.
Air flows in the area of least residence.
Here's a photo for those wondering what we are talking about, See #25 and #26.
These are factory seals that help with cooling, think of the grille as a big funnel forcing air into the radiator when driving.
Without these seals it's like having a funnel with holes in it, and you loose a lot out the holes, or in this case the sides.

I found the perfect fan to fit in front of a aux trans cooler. Why do they get more expensive the smaller they get??? It's 5" x 1.25" thick. Kinda pricey though. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/DER-16505/

That has a 1.25" shroud depth.
2.25" overall depth.

I have a leak on my A/C unit.. When the temp is 88 and below my temp in the vents read ~43C.

Once it hits 90C+ them coming out of the vents is 60

Who here has done the WJ intake upgrade on their ZJ?

On the stock ZJ intake all ports were used except for 1 as well. Mine had a black plug when I bought it. That's why I have one of the ports plugged with the WJ intake. I am not utilizing all the ports.

Ok here is a shot as my intake sits now WITHOUT the blue cap on the open port. If I put the blue cap on, I am back to where I was. No crusie control and the air only comes out the defrost.

If I take the blue cap off, I have crusie control and my air works on all settings. Then I have a vacuum leak..... LOL
