Thought about what needs to be done to have her ready for Grand Slam Uwharrie at the end of the month.

So far to do:
Cut out front fenders
Reinstall front passenger fender
Reinstall a steering box...
Weld down pipe
Reinstall down pipe
Install hockey pucks/ bump stop extensions

Wish I was going
I've got to do some motor mounts before any real wheeling, also shock bushings and new spacers for the rear. I'm sure I could think of many more things but these are a must!

OT, seem to have the oil leak taken care of unless it's being sneaky sneaky

If at first you don't succeed, use more speed.

Washed it from last wheeling trip. Now it's all dry I am about to trim the fenders front and rear, see if with my 4.25" lift on SA I can fit these 35" BFGs ATs, if not I'll sell/trade for some 33" MTs. Issue is going to be the rear wheel wells..already trimmed by PO for the bushwacker flares. But I was to do it "right".

Went to change the diff oils and gaskets, and found a coolant leak!!!!

Upper hose seems to be leaking where it meets the rad. I don't see any cracks on the hose, and where it meets the rad seems fine too. WTF! I have a 100 mile drive tonight, all parts stores are closed (to replace the hose) and sealant all around the leaking area didn't do ****. Any suggestions?

Unfortunately I live in Canada, nothing here open

I still don't know if it's the hose or the rad itself!

That's exactly where mine was leaking, replaced radiator and fixed it.

I think it might be the damn radiator, it is plastic after all... I've got no $$$ for a radiator right now, maybe some RTV will do the trick?

My radiator was cracked vertical on the side right near the upper hose and would drip down to the petcock valve trying to mislead me! Well I found it and yanked that rad out. I didn't find it until I took it all apart though. It was in the perfect spot for hiding.

My rad is old but I flushed it a few weeks ago and everything seemed fine. I also thought it was the petcock valve at first, but it's just running from up near the hose. I'm going to try and drive it how it is tonight and get a hose tomorrow, if that doesn't work, what could temporarily fix the crack if it's on the rad itself?

Tracked my belt squeak down to my a/c clutch. Sprayed some silicone spray in there while it was squeaking and it went away. Glad its not my alternator. Still $115 though, but at least I saved $30 with my employee discount
