I want your front bumper, just the simple line. Looks good and beats the factory one hardcore.

Not as exciting as putting a snow plow in, but changed valve cover gaskets, basic oil change, put an o-ring on trans line, and changed the trans pan gasket n fluid. And found this stuff after throwing some magnets on the pan for a few days...anybody know what i could gather from these metallic flakes?

^Mine looked the same when i first dropped my pan at 160K...unsure when PO serviced last. As of now my recent trans fluid drained looked like strawberry milk. Hence Why I'm waiting to pull it again and plug/relocate the trans vent.

If that was JUST after a couple days of servicing...that is bad I would think. Unless trans have to wear into the new fluid(no idea, not an auto trans guy).

So I have a couple gallons of ATF+4 I recovered from my Ram and Jeep while servicing leaks...would it be okay to run the fluid through a filters and use temporarily since I seem to be changing fluids so often with water crossings?

Why not just spend a day and $100 bucks extending everything necessary to Wade water? There's a write up on here on how to do it.

Thinking about masking the gold cladding stripe and painting it medium grey to match the wheels and rocker covers.
As awesome as those rims are (XJ / KJ Icon rims), I hate to break it to you, but they're 16x7, not 16x8. AFAIK, the only factory 16x8s Jeep had in 5x4.5 are TJ Moabs. TJ Canyons and Ravines were 15x8. Other than that, most of them were 7" wide rims (all ZJ stock rims included).

I've done everything except the transmission vent. Trying to work on it now and the rain won't let up. I'm going to reuse the fluid until I can get around to pulling the trans again and install the deeper pan with a drain plug. All I do is shuffle the jeep around the driveway so my HOA leaves me alone.

I bought the ZJ an new oil pressure sending unit, new fog lights, 4"x30ft 10ton recovery strap for $15, and a full size spare tire/rim to replace the excuse of a emergency donut.
