Wired up some kcs did an xj running light mod don't know if it actually has a name. All the lights are blue/white except the kcs. Put some stickers on my jeep too. I have already ordered new head lights to put the hids in.

NICE! It's always a moment when a ZJ gets to recover a "more capable vehicle." Most people who stumble on to this situation assume the ZJ is getting pulled out and ask if anyone needs help. It's even nicer when your friend says "Nah, the ZJ will get me out easy, it's been at it all day."

For the 5.9, do you throw a CEL light if you bypass the upper & lower radiator sensors with a 3 position switch instead? I'm wondering if the system is smart enough to detect changes in modes when the AC is off/ on - for instance if it compares the signal from engage compressor to the pressure switch on the ac line that is responsible for low speed.
The 5.9 fan control never touches the computer, so you can do whatever you want and not throw a CEL.

Wonder if you have to score a grand turban slam or the like to get one?

They always are. When I need a tow I'm always smiling and grateful.... getting pissed?? Why bother, it was my ******* who got stuck so why get angry and bring on more self ridicule?

The hope is, when I get bigger tires, I'll get a chance to unstick Matt's Chev. Dude takes it mudding all the time, even though it's 2WD. He usually unsticks me, but then, I'm usually on streeters, or the Pathfinder's front hubs exploded.

It'll be hilarious, because the ZJ's half the size of the Chev.

2WDs with a rear locker on aggressive tires will get farther than most 4x4s on street tires. If this isn't the case then the terrain hasn't gotten challenging enough yet.

Washed and waxed, pitched some trash from inside the cab, slapped the trail GPS into it's mount.

Put a couple coats of Back to Black on the side mirror housings - they're pretty rough.

Figured I'd try using some of the polish I used on the rest of the Heep on my bug shield...seems to have somewhat worked. It's still pretty rough, but it's stock and not cracked

Front driver side map/dome light burned out, so went to get a new one from the parts store - they sell them in pairs, so I figured I'd replace the passenger side while I was at it. Don't try pulling an operational bulb with your bare fingers when it's been on for more than 30 seconds....ouch!!!!!! Dang thing just about blistered my finger!
