Got the trans and whatnot back in. Drove it today with just the magnaflow convertor. Shifts fine and sounds even better. Bought 1' of 3" stainless tubing to finish it off with a magnaflow muffler. I'm pretty psyched.

I finally, after a year, got my other "jeepforum.com" decal on the other back window of my Jeep. Finally, both back windows are symmetrical, sticker wise. That's gotta add some traction.

Just took the cladding off. Going to need 4 rust free doors. Rocker panels and a new hood. Hopefully the rust on the hatch can be saved. Anyone know how to do that?

At the junkyard today I found something a little different with this Grand Cherokee Laredo.

It's a 95 and is fairly close in parts to my 98 Limited.

I look inside and first thing I spot is this, first time I've seen one with a Selec-Trac.

I look under the hood, that's not a V8.

I look back on the body and it shows V8 5.2

Then looking underneath, sure enough it's a 242 TC.

I went ahead and pulled the tow hooks off of it after having a good look around.

Definitely a frankenstein. I'm guessing someone added the door cladding and rear hatch off a newer 5.2?
What style was the interior?

That's a 96. 10th digit = T = 1996

The hatch has the wrong badges on it/is from an older Jeep. The back bumper is wrong too, assuming it was replaced along with the hatch. Most I6 Laredos had 242s too. I'm not seeing what's so interesting here?

/devil's advocate
