yeah cell phone. I found one just like it in my parts jeep I bought but I followed the wire to a stick on mini antenna on the side window in the back. Must be a booster for signal.

Garage
Went to do the NSS repair today but instead found a way over-torqued nut and a busted NSS case which was allowing oil from my leaky rear main into into causing it to work or not randomly. I'm now in the process of bypassing the switch with a momentary switch for park/neutral starting and an illuminated rocker switch for reverse. I all ready straight wired the park/neutral wires at the connector (b and c pins) and it fired right up so my plan will work, or fail miserably, it is a Jeep. lol
