Actually yesterday..... what did I do to my ZJ?? Bought it! Now my crawler has a sibling. Time to ditch my cars though and they will be missed, but the 5.9 is a welcomed addition to the family. As usual, the previous owner sold it due to spending too much on gas. Gotta strike when the iron's hot.

That's the thread I modeled my install after. I was at the junkyard on Saturday and decided "I can make this fit", so when I got home, I started looking to see if anyone else had done it.

For now the 4.0 will remain the crawler. the niner has a 3.5" RC lift with the typical hole drilling on the front TB. Gonna need front and rear adjustable TBs, JKS discos and a 231 eventually. I'm gonna get on it after work to figure out what needs fixing.

Long term plan for the 9er... it will be wheeled as is - so it will be getting more character soon enough. My 4.0 unibody has lots of carnage... but I'm still gonna use it for the extreme trails after building some sliders. If it ever gives up or has major issues, then the 5.9 will get the LA suspension from the 4.0.

Pics or it didn't happen right?

The off road lights on the grille guard are HID that I got from AutoZone for about $120 each.
I might order one of these. Looks pretty good.

I put a V-Tec sticker on my jeep. Added like 80HP according to my calculations (I didn't dyno it, but you don't need that to measure power), and now if I loose in a race I can be like "Id've won if my turbo had spooled up" or "If I hadn't f*cked second you'd be toast" next I'm going to make my license plate say JDM4LFE, that should give me better handling in the corners and whatnot. Anything else you guys can think of to get better performance?

Sounds like a great plan, just appreciate a good looking niner.

What shocks are on it. Andy's felt horrible until I mounted the shocks body down.
