Haha I thought that you were going to have to junk it because you couldn't get the shock on.

Changed the drivers side CV axle, cleaned out my front differential, and reRTV'd and gasketed it. Making plans to either delve into rebuilding the diff after some study, or have someone rebuild it. It's showing some wear

Well today I took my lights off and pulled the bulbs out. Upgrading soon. With relays more lights with all new bulbs switches in the over head counsel with master switches on the left side vent. There will be a master switch for front fog lights and up top there will be driving lights 2 lights will be on one relay. So one switch will be for 2 lights.

I literally cut the old muffler off, then it was a direct replacement in the same spot. Took me 30 minutes to do in my driveway and that was mainly because the old muffler was a PITA to get off. I will get a video of it tomorrow and upload it.

I actually sent the jeep to the junkyard to have it crushed down and bought a new one that already had bilsteins installed

Took it to the drag strip and ran a very disappointing best time of 15.17 @ 89.21 (pretty much what it should run stock). From what I was noticing run to run, I think I've got some serious heat soak issues. I also was a bit weak on my launches, and could definitely have pushed it harder off the line. I might give it another shot in a week or 2 and see what happens. If I can get it into the mid 14s and trap 95 or so as it sits now, I'll be happy.

You're being affected by power:weight.

The 5.9 motor that you swapped in makes what, <300 CRANK HP. Now do the drive line loss and you're maybe making 250-260 RWHP (with a 20% driveline loss). Also it doesn't help that the Jeep weighs ~4,000 lbs.

You're not gonna do much better. Plus I don't know what your mods are. I really didn't read your profile, just wanted to see the motor you had

For some reason, I want to swap a Nissan VG30E into a Jeep. It's only 150hp, but it's such a good engine. Probably get a little better gas mileage than a 4.0, be just as reliable, and sound so nice...

Okay, it's a stupid idea, moving on.

I about crapped myself, I thought wranglers were so light. 2 I talk to Jim and he is doing 3800 gm swaps, the supercharged ones he is getting 320 Hp. Super light, small, blown v6, heck yea. Now I know what the mutt is getting if I can ever pop this bulletproof 318.

The engine isn't swapped, it's the original 5.9. It was 245hp stock, but it now has heads, cam, 1.7 ratio roller rockers, full exhaust from the manifolds back and a tune, as well as a shift kit in the tranny. I'm figuring crank hp should be around 320 - 330. Holding the revs up for the last minute or so in the staging line to cool the intake helped a bit, but it was still lacking on the top end. I think my shift points might be a hair late too, I'm going to try moving them down 200 rpm and see where that puts me (currently shifting at 5400, rev limiter at 6000).

It pulled pretty well off the line though, cut a 2.19 60' time on my best pass, and I still had traction, so I could have launched it a bit harder. Keep in mind, I'm on 245/70R16 A/Ts.

For weight, with me in it, as I ran tonight (half tank of fuel, spare tire, toolbox, etc, removed), it should weigh about 4300 lbs.
