interesting, Ive never head about the cherrybomb extreme, I just assumed with a name like that it was loud

What muffler does the IRO kit use?

i dunno i got the baffeled muffler, its pretty beefy..been over alot of rocks and only got a small dent. i went through 3 different mufflers on the trail just getting bashed in and ripped off..all within a year..the IRO has been on for over a year and no problems.

my flowmaster survived dragging and falling off in the desert and its not even the offroad one

today i smashed my rear tail pulling out an F-250 cause i had to prove a point. its worth the tail light *|||||*

Waht did you do to your ZJ?

Well after owning a couple of YJs and most recently, a XJ, I purchased a 1997 ZJ. My decision was based on building a slightly modded Jeep that could handle some dirt and pull my pop-up camper. There are several places in SC/NC/GA that have camping and off-road parks. The XJ has towing of 2000# and a 4.0L ZJ 4500-5000#. At 199,900 miles, it will need a little work, but all-in-all, it seems well taken care of. It took awhile to find a select-trac since I didn't want AWD. The seller knocked off some $s because it needed tires. That worked out great, since I was going to put on BFG ATs anyway. So, what did I do to my ZJ. I bought it! I'll post pics and detail as I go along. New to this site, but I went through the Harley thing for a few years, so I find my way around.

Went house hunting and of course no driveways were plowed at all so I got a little snow wheeling in I mean it was really important to exam all 7 acres LOL (not really I only drove up the dirt road aka the driveway)

Picked up a set of "like new" Sensa-Tracs for $80

Seller says he put less than 1k miles on em before before upgrading to a 3.5" kit. I believe it from the looks of the bushings, the rubber looks perfect. Should be a nice bang-for-the-buck upgrade to my worn out 114k originals!

Since my Jeeps back in Texas, my uncle took it to have the cat off his 2010 Camaro stage 2 SS, and muffler off his 2006 GTO put on my 1997 Grand Cherokee. He said it sounds like a hot rod now. Ill take pics when i get to Georgia.

found out I have a bad hub/bearign assembly on the front (possibly 2) need to get either a new steering gear or replace the pitman arm seal, need a new axle shaft seal in the D30 pass side and possibly need to repalce my balljoints. All in all a pretty crappy weekend!

Ah well, more fun ripping stuff out and chucking stuff in!

stock exhaust piping on my 4.0 is 2.25" im assuming right?

I parked my zj next to a wk2 and then instructed a wj driver to park by my zj. The. I kinda just looked at the evolution of the grand Cherokee.(there was no wk in sight lol and I don't really believe that's a real jeep.)
