No TC swap. I bought this ZJ about 6 months ago and it did this off and on and has gotten worse. I looked into replacing the switch but in the end decided this was easier and cheaper. I test drove another ZJ before I bought this that had the same issue so I thought it might be a common problem.
You could do this when you swap from a 249 to a 231 however.

Fixed the switch that causes the interior lights to dim (thanks to a JF thread!) and installed my new deck/cd player! Also new plug wires and cap

No. Allied Machine and Driveline in Amarillo did it.

i can show you plenty of places in VA that you would NEED one. but that doesn't worry me. i know i need to watch my back in those places
but standing in the woods on a trail and having shackles fly by me at 1000 FPS is what worries me

im not concerned with bullets, they are more likely to be going away from me than towards me

Why on earth would they go in that far and not replace that inner ujoint? they were right there at it replacing the centering ball....:
the outer is obviously new from the cap....

Mounted my IPF 968s yesterday. Hitting the high beam switch now blasts whatever is in front of me with 600 watts of light Driving on an empty, unlit backroad, hitting the high beams is pretty much "who turned on the sun?" The high beam switch triggers the 100w high beams in the e-codes, a pair of 100w long range beams, and the set of combo beam 100w IPFs.

My ZJ has a rebuild title and it seems that when they fixed it they didn't replace the header panel, so my lights were horribly aligned and it drove me nuts! As the others have said it's the plastic piece that holds the grille and lights together!

The joints were in good shape, only replaced what was needed. I still have a few issues to sort out and cash is tight. If I was there at the time I would have said to pop in new ones but I trust the place completely and if they say the joints are good, they're good.

I thought it was an all inclusive statement...I didn't see anything racist about it.
