Drove it 70 miles with no overdrive, and then the last 15 miles sometimes in 3rd gear and often times downshift to 2nd and then back to 3rd in order to get 3rd to engage after coasting. This trans is borked. It's such bull****. A 5k mile trans should not be having these problems.

Did you rebuild it or did you have someone else do it?

Dad and I did it. Dad's done a couple 727s before, so something failed in there. Pretty annoying, really.

Please tell me you needed to pull the case for something other than drilling the hole in the shift linkage, as you could have unbolted just the arm.

Put a new seat cover in it.

image-3555240302.jpg

Put blue lights in the gauge cluster.

And put this in it. It flashes to the music. And I needed something to fill in that spot. It looks pretty cool

Swapped on the junkyard hood hinges I picked up a few weeks ago. It's nice to have a hood that finally sits level again.

Haha yeah I need to replace the tailshaft seal on the tranny it's leaking like a siv and replace the bearing that spun itself out for the tcase linkage.

You put an annoying item that flashes while you're driving, potentially creating a danger at night? I fail to see why that's cool

What did I do? I made sure the trickle charger was plugged in. I haven't driven it since last week, but I'll drive it tomorrow
