HD, she looks good!

As for mine, I'm having tranny issues. It's starting to slip and today I looked at other ZJs in my future price range. I really don't want to get rid of mine, but if the tranny goes, I don't think it's worth rebuilding.

I'm going to try lucas tranny stop slip tomorrow, or whatever it's called. Worse comes to worse, I buy another ZJ locally in a few months, and swap my wheels and brand new tires on, problem solved. I'll probably keep this one until it's undriveable though.

No problem. I talked with a few other people who's springs do the same thing. It happens when you move the axle back with longer arms and angle it to adjust for the pinion angle.

If at first you don't succeed, use more speed.

TOO FUNNY... Mine left me stranded for the first time since I've owned it. Wouldn't start but after all we've been through I really can't blame it for quitting on me - not to mention I just punished the heck out of it this weekend. Troubleshot for a few hours and finally gave up. I'll see what my friend diagnoses as the problem as it was just towed to his shop earlier. Damn, there goes my 4x4" square tube slider budget. At the very least, this will speed up my ambition to put one of my cars up for sale.

I was looking for a cheap and easy way to color the white lettering on the tires black. Decided to get a black acrylic paint marker from hobby lobby. Worked well enough for me.

Washed and put a coat of wax on it.

yup, that'll do it. To change fluid, find the drain plug (usually located next to the muffler bearing) and drain all your fluid out. next, find you reservoir under the good (should be next to your carburetor belts) and full it new fluid

My mechanic said mines fuel injected. Where would the tank be on mine? Can't find the drain either. Crap.

I'll just bring it to jiffy lube Tomorrow. How much does it cost? Low on funds right now.

You do know that there's a recall for those if you have a 249 transfer case, right? You could have a full size spare on Chrysler's dime if you play your cards right.
