The reason I removed it was to learn how everything goes together and how to get to the heater core. I also bought it to practice modifying on for putting a double din head unit in my jeep.
I want to hook a front camera to the double din so I can see when going over hills and also have a killer system.

I also received 120 pounds of Second Skin sound deadening material for installing in my jeep.

Junkyard today:
Liftgate Support Struts $11.99 ea.
Dash molding with vents $11.99
Taillights $24.99 ea.
Tow hooks $6.99 ea.
Tow hook brackets $11.99 ea.
Dash pad $39.99
You could have gotten NEW struts for the same price at rock auto

Going to look at a wrecked 2000 something wrangler with a lift that tore the front frame control arm mounts off. Anyone know what this is called as in Tj or what is it. Also what do I want in a wrangler? What year? This one has 60,000 on it for $5000.

I checked Rock Auto and with shipping they would be about $10 more than what I paid.

The ones I got are Omix-Ada and they sell for around $24 ea.
What surprised me was when I opened the tailgate it continued going up by itself, not sure if this is normal.
My jeep's tailgate just stays where you leave it and when it's cold out it doesn't stay up easy.

Fixed my heater core hose. Tried to put new battery terminals on, but they weren't ready, so I threw them out. Also tried to put my shaft on, but it didn't wanna go on. so after all that epic failness, I went for a drive..

Some pics of the mini blizzard at Desert Springs National Wildlife Refuge. 1.5 million acres to fart around on.

I am pretty sure that it was some kind of bucket crane that the top was salvaged on. That large circle in the center has gear teeth on it. There were hydraulic lines running all around it and some controls on one end. It looks really old. It was an old mining area with a lot of derelict leftovers. We hauled butt because we discovered a large number of bees. There are africanized bees around here and they are so aggressive that they will attack the vehicle.

That smashed truck was farther down than it looks in that pic. Here is a non zoomed pic. It was fun to shoot at.
