Had my dad make a d-ring hitch, don't think I'll be breaking this any time soon. Gonna go out and hit it up with some por15 and then on it'll go.

Any ideas on how to mount it in the hitch so people don't steal it? I'd rather not buy one of those locking hitch pins or w/e, I was thinking just putting a bolt through and locking it with two nuts.

Edit:

I should say I do plan on taking the d-ring off, I would just like to leave the hitch on.

Went out in our raging blizzard and resccued stranded travellers. Bent a tow hook yarding out a severely stuck F-350 Super duty...After that I pulled off my mudflaps and used my towing reciever!

I changed out my broken harmonic balance under covered parking in the cold rain. It's my daily driver. It went well with the right tools. I had to repair my lower transmission cooling hose after an accident. I would have found it sooner but I'm learning as I go. Next low hanging fruit is the Oil pressure sensor.
