putting on a new MAP sensor hopefully that fixes the rough idle issue that has been getting worse. That was the only code that popped up. They are really proud of this part $73.

Just fitted a VIC I picked up on eBay. The one that came in my Limited was well and truly dead. I know a lot of people hate them, but I'm a sucker for a digital information readout, and within seconds of switching on, I was getting Rear Lamp Failure and Coolant Level Low. I'm delighted

To actually see one, I copied that to a tea. What joints does that come with on each end of the uppers and lowers?

My dad is from upper Sandusky Ohio. I looked at the pic and it reminded me of that area with the ponds in the yards. Then I see you are just down the road.

Bummed right now put the jeep on the scanner today was told it was a map sensor, 73 dollars later still same issue. I was told a cracked head could cause similar problems. Did a compression check all cylinders between 170 and 180 with no bleed off. All plugs are clean. Runs good from cold start to operating temps as long as your moving runs great, shut it off and it doesnt want to start and if it does it runs rough till it gets cleaned out (no smoke from exhaust). If you let it sit 15 or 20 minutes sometimes it turns right over and runs just like its suppose to. Love my jeep but very frustrated today.

4.0L? My XJ used to do the same thing. The injectors get heat soaked and vaporize the fuel inside. Hot start was next to impossible without some help from the accelerator until it all cleared out.

Did absolutely nothing on the Jeep(s) today.

Spent the day pimping out my daughter's razor scooter. Not my choice of colors, but it was great to spend time with her at the shop.....

done trimming! I took 1" off all the way around the front, using a jigsaw, then touched up the edges with a sanding disk on a grinder. I wanted it to look as factory as possible. the inner fenders..... well they took alot of BFH work lol. But I have no rubbing anywhere even at full lock. the rears I just took off a bit of the rocker, its close but the wheel should rotate back as it goes up so I am not worried. sorry about the crap pics.

Beautiful area. My dad grew up right above parker covered bridge, my uncle owns the farmstead. I usually make it back there once a year.
